"In Beauty" Psalm 50:2 …perfect in beauty, God shines forth. Crimson shades orbit a darkened field across a furrowed canvas. From a distance, the artwork is experienced as a ghostly impression of iconic typography. As the viewer approaches, greater and greater detail comes into focus within the canvas to ultimately reveal the embodied scripture within the artwork.
The Good God gospel collection exhibits an entire gospel narrative as a single linear page of unenumerated text to visually contextualize the gospel as a singular uninterrupted visual expression of truth, unencumbered by pages and numeric cataloguing. These giclees are archival, highest-quality prints. Each work of art is individually printed and made custom for your order. They are masterful pieces of art on stretched, 1.5" thick gallery-wrapped canvases. Each giclee includes hanging hardware and is ready to hang when you receive it. While a giclee does not include texture that you can physically feel, it does include the stunning visual texture of Ryan's original pallet knife strokes.
The printing process requires several days of curing/ drying/ hand-stretching, and we hope you'll appreciate the time we devote to each work: Please allow UP TO 2 WEEKS for final production.
