"Not Home Yet" - John 14:3 "And if I go and prepare a place for you..." In this piece, the simple reminder is that this world is not our home. Each mention of heaven is composed in a linear narrative. From a distance, the artwork is experienced as the word "HOME". As the viewer approaches, greater and greater detail comes into focus within the canvas to ultimately reveal the embodied scripture within the artwork.
The Thematic Collection exhibits an exhaustive search through the scriptures of a particular theme and catalogues them in sequential order of appearance as a linear narrative as a single linear page of unenumerated text to visually contextualize the book as a singular uninterrupted visual expression of truth, unencumbered by pages and numeric cataloguing. These giclees are archival, highest-quality prints. Each work of art is individually printed and made custom for your order. They are masterful pieces of art on stretched, 1.5" thick gallery-wrapped canvases. Each giclee includes hanging hardware and is ready to hang when you receive it. While a giclee does not include texture that you can physically feel, it does include the stunning visual texture of Ryan's original pallet knife strokes.
