"You Come Against Me" - Everyone is fighting a battle. Your giant will kill your joy, your future, your relationships and even your life. In the piece, Ryan Bricker re-creates Michelangelo’s masterpiece David, embodied in how the battle is won in the heart and mind, immortalized in his gaze at the apex of his concentration and in his relaxed, but alert, resting bodily focus. As the viewer approaches, greater and greater detail comes into focus within the canvas to ultimately reveal the embodied scripture of 1 Samuel 17 within the artwork.

These giclees are archival, highest-quality prints. Each work of art is individually printed and made custom for your order. They are masterful pieces of art on stretched, 1.5" thick gallery-wrapped canvases. Each giclee includes hanging hardware and is ready to hang when you receive it. While a giclee does not include texture that you can physically feel, it does include the stunning visual texture of Ryan's original pallet knife strokes.
